Don’t believe headlines in EuroNews and the mainstream media
With the mainstream media shouting headlines such as Wilders Crushed, Nationalism is dead; Populism took a blow, etc. Left-wing pundits shouldn’t be too hasty to wear their ideals on their banners. In reality, Rutte’s VVD party took a huge blow, losing 20% support dropping from 41 seats to 33. Wilder’s PVV party moved into second place gaining 33% from 15 seats to 20. The Greens won the most, a massive 350%, going from 4 places to 14.
Any analyst who looks at the Dutch election results as a trend against Nationalism is just dreaming. With fourteen parties and tightly integrated internal politics in the Netherlands, the results are far more complicated than open borders vs. nationalism. Rutte is not as left wing as the opponents in the BREXIT, and Trump elections were. Furthermore, in the final days leading up to the elections, his government, not Wilders, shut down the Turkish rallies, blocking the Turkish Ambassadors plane from landing, and therefore displayed his right from center, nationalistic views. In the end, no one won the Dutch elections with a majority.
Rutte will be able to form another minority coalition, and the Dutch will still move towards more nationalism. That is the trend as displayed by Wilders gains. Nationalism is trending across Europe with examples of Hungary and others, but the next two big elections in France, late April and early May, Germany in September, will center more on nationalism than what the Dutch elections centered on. Immigration is a huge problem in France, with the economy a close second and the two issues are intertwined as the French people want jobs for the French, not foreigners. In Germany, the economy is doing fine. However, there is more of a nationalistic trend against immigration, even as the mainstream media stifles all news of immigrant problems of rape and murder committed by the flood of new immigrants.
Nationalism versus populism
The mainstream press labels nationalism as populism, as they see it as a more negative term, while the term nationalism is more positive in terms of loyalty to one’s country. Nationalism is defined as a patriotic feeling, principles, allegiance/loyalty, an extreme form of patriotism, all terms that need to be avoided by the left-wing press. The term populism is defined as support for the concerns of ordinary people, and of course, the entrenched deep state actors, and the left-wing pundits don’t see themselves as ordinary people. They use the term as a put-down to those ordinary people that want to change the course of open-borders.
Nationalism, as defined in today’s context, is the ordinary people, the working class, those who pay the taxes and who don’t like politicians, and therefore have avoided anything to do with them for over thirty years, now waking up and revolting against the open-border initiative put forth by the deep state. The deep state is defined as the entrenched politicians and their mainstream media cohorts, funded by the wealthy global industrialists who would like nothing more than to be able to get rid of all local laws and have open borders so they can easily trade their wares with more profit and fewer regulations. It is easier to pass favorable regulations for your industry with the EU than with 28 different states.
There was a huge uproar over US Congressman from Iowa Steve King who made this statement on his Twitter account about the Dutch elections,
Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.
He was attacked hard and fast by the deep state calling him a racist, etc. In reality, his only crime against diversity was saying that the American culture is different and worth saving. In follow-up interviews, he explained that American families should teach their children their own values. This doesn’t sound like an attack on racism.
The mistake the deep state has made is their failure to realize that along with their open borders for easier commerce; they are destroying patriotism and the culture and languages that are held dear by the ordinary people. The deep state created the immigration mess the western world is fighting with, by starting a fake war in Iraq using fake reasons of weapons of mass destruction, then forwarding into support for the Spring uprisings, destabilizing Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Syria, therefore creating millions of immigrants who want to leave their war-torn countries.
In worldwide surveys taken by the Program on International Policy Attitudes, the University of Maryland, only 46% believe the narrative that al Qaeda was responsible for the 9/11 attacks that allowed the patriot act to go forward, with a huge 15% thinking it was a false flag event performed by the US Government. The deep state immediately labels any mention of 9/11 as a false flag event, as a conspiracy theory, another put-down phrase. Of course, the nationalists can view the video of World Trade Center Building 7 across the street from the twin towers, and watch it crumble later that night in what is obvious to ordinary people that it was a planned demolition with explosives.
The Muslim problem
According to the prophet Muhammed, if you are not a Muslim, you are an infidel. Muslims are to destroy all infidels. The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called ‘hypocrites’ and warned that Allah would send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Turkish President Erdogan tells Muslims in Europe to have “at least five children,” because, “You are the future of Europe.” Is Erdogan planning to win the 2040 World Cup—or something more “comprehensive?”
Recent practices of Muslim immigrants proves that they do not integrate. They cluster and then work to put forth their laws, aside from the laws of the country they are living in. They are not loyal to their new home countries and cannot, for the most part, become patriotic to their new country. The ordinary French people see this and could respond with election results that show the trend is continuing.
America was created by Europeans seeking a new and better life. It was the have nots, the laborers and those that didn’t own land; the people who also had some ambition and got up off their dead butts, left their families behind and moved to the new world. These are the varied immigrants that made America great in the first place. But there was a commonality among them, they adapted and integrated into a new homogenized culture, leaving their Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, Italian, etc., languages and culture behind them and adopting and integrating into their new home.
The open borders policies are what is killing language and culture, and creating the rise of nationalism from the ordinary people.
